We are now taking applications for our next programme of the youth Growing Leaders course. We have run this many times before and seen around 50 young people benefit and grow from this 8 month long course. Could this year be the year for you to take part?

Growing Leaders 2016

Growing Leaders is a wonderful course for any young person who is a committed Christian, in school year 10+ from September, and is wanting to explore what Christian leadership is and how God might be equipping them for leadership. The course does not limit Christian leadership to what goes on in church but includes all forms of leadership whether this is in a school, sports, uniformed organisation or community context.

The course runs from September 2016 – April 2017, finishing in time to give space for those with external exams to be focus on taking those. We meet once per month on Monday evenings plus two 24 hours trips away over two weekends.

Each participant is linked to an adult mentor from within their local church, who they meet with each month to ground their learning and to help water their growth.

We tend to see young people coming in ones and twos from different churches across the area and it is a great way to build unity across the churches as participants build strong friendships across churches.

Feedback from previous courses has always been fantastic with everyone saying how much they have benefitted from taking part and a sadness when the course comes to an end.

We are now taking applications for the next programme. You can find out more details on our youth growing leaders web page, as well as complete an application form online.

Closing date for applications is Friday 5th August and the cost of the course is £110, which covers all resources and accommodation for the two residentials.

if you know a teenager who might benefit from this course, please do point them to the web page and get in touch if you would like to discuss the course further.
